Welcome to the Cereb.us Wiki. You can leave me messages here by editing this page and 'signing it' by putting four ~ in a row. Margaret 19:37, 22 August 2006 (MDT)

Hi! Can you enable the ParserFunctions extension? Also, you can delete Issuenav... sorry, I meant to add that to the template namespace. —Chowbok 18:14, 21 October 2006 (MDT)

Thanks! No worries about the userpage, I'll put something there anyway at some point.
It doesn't look like ParserFunctions is enabled, though. This should say "2": 2 —Chowbok 21:53, 21 October 2006 (MDT)

Cool! That means I now have charnav working the way it should:

  • {{charnav|002|004}} gives (last seen in issue 002; next appearance in issue 004)
  • {{charnav||010}} gives (first appearance; next appearance in issue 010)
  • {{charnav|180|}} gives (last seen in issue 180; final appearance)
  • {{charnav||}} gives (only appearance)

Another question: are the leading zeroes in the article pages and cover image names < 100 necessary? I can work around it, but it would be a lot easier with this template I'm working on if they weren't there. I can do the work of moving them, setting up redirects, etc. —Chowbok 11:57, 22 October 2006 (MDT)

Great, thanks. I'll start moving those, then. There should be redirects at the old pages so it shouldn't break anything. Glad you like the issue box, feel free to change it around if you like. —Chowbok 22:52, 22 October 2006 (MDT)

Hello. Thanks for the greeting. I hope to help out on the project a fair bit. Before I knew this wiki existed (I only found you when I Googled "Yoohwhoo" yesterday) I had planned to write up a lot of notes for myself on the series. None of those notes will I hold preciously as "my own" and be unwilling to share. So, if things go to plan I can see myself helping out.

The caveat is that I have so often become HUGELY enthusiastic about something only to then collapse and move onto something else that catches my eye.

But I'm glad there is such a thing as a Cerebus Wiki. I had thought to do articles at Wikipedia for each of the phone books, sort of knowing that some Wikipedians might feel the articles should not exist. I used to be a rabid contributor to Wikipedia but ran out of stuff I could pour out of my brain. So this wiki interface is very familiar to me.

I believe, as part of creating my account, you're able to email me via the wiki. If you don't notice anything from me for a while you're most welcome to to send a message and say "Hey! What happened to your help?" Let's see how things go. --Bodnotbod

Thanks for the welcome. I've just been adding a few character appearance connections concerning canon Apocrypra to the issue pages as I go along. At least, the stuff determined to take place between specific issues. Gilgamesh 15:35, 13 May 2010 (MST)
