Khem appears in issue 2 and issue 151.

A demon/succubus Cerebus encounters in issue 2. Allegedly the guardian of the Eye of Terim, though this may not be true, as the Eye in that issue wasn't the actual eye at all.

Khem feeds on souls, and uses the captured bodies as warriors. Those victims the spend their time carving representations of it into the soft rock of the underground cavern maze domain, in Tansubal.

It is first referenced as possessing a "crimson claw" (2, p.14) which may or may not have something to do with the Red Claw terrorists that keep popping up in the Cockroach's origins.

While Cerebus is traveling with Borealan Mercenaries, they are ambushed by an army of Khem's soul-drained warriors. He falls into the subterranean dwelling, and eventually discovers the supposed Eye of Terim, which is actually a trap allowing Khem to steal a person's soul. Due to an inability to find his soul, Cerebus escapes Khem's clutches, and in doing so, frees all of the captive souls, reducing the enslaved warriors to skeletons.

At least two years later, at the time of the "Great Change", Khem suddenly realizes the purposelessness of its existence (now that its spell has been broken by Cerebus) and apparently self-destructs (151, p.7).
