Issue Summary

Cerebus still standing on his half of the flat rock that used to be the throne room floor and is drifting towards Jupiter. As he drifts towards and then away from Jupiter, he looks around at the lightening on the night side of Jupiter. As he goes past Jupiter he gets on his knees and prays to Tarim thanking Tarim for sparing Cerebus. He starts thanking Tarim for not minding about all the bad things he has done in his past, listing them off as another part of him is telling himself to shut up. Cerebus then thinks to himself that Tarim knows everything that Cerebus thinks so he'll never think bad things again, only good things.

But when he realizes that he can't do that, he starts talking to Tarim. Thinking that Tarim made Cerebus so if Tarim wanted to make Cerebus different, he could have. Cerebus thinks that there are a lot worse people then himself out there (though he can't think of any names), and then he thinks that taking Tarim's name in vain is a kind of tribute. Cerebus thinks that since he is an insignificant flyspeck to Tarim that what does Tarim care about what Cerebus thinks of him? Cerebus starts to say bad thinks about Tarim, "Tarim is a big wet runny pile of yellow dog turds who. . ."

And at that moment he comes very close to hitting what looks like a star with some other mysterious stuff around it. Cerebus drops to his knees and starts praying to Tarim asking for forgiveness and calling himself a bad flyspeck.

Cerebus has some conflicting internal diaglogue. Cerebus tries to prove he is not as bad as other people. A bright light appears and Cerebus starts beating himself up (physically and verbally) for talking back to Tarim. He starts beating himself up and groveling to Tarim when a pie is thrown at Cerebus, who sees it as a sign.
